Organizing: What to do with Papers

You’ve Got Mail!
Mail and paperwork have an annoying habit of collecting on surfaces. Here are some practical tips for managing your mail and paperwork so they don’t clutter your home.
🔸Toss any junk before it comes in. As soon you get your mail, identify what can immediately be tossed or recycled and get rid of it.
🔸Create a designated mail station. Your mail station should be near the door and include a mail organizer to separate your mail in three categories:
- Act: bills to pay, invites to reply to
- Review: magazines, financial statements, coupons
- File: paid invoices, completed docs
🔸Designate a time to review your mail weekly. Put a reminder on your calendar every week to review your mail categories.
Hi, I'm Lisa
Photos have always brought me joy and are one of my favorite mediums for storytelling. But let’s be honest, the sheer volume of digital photos we all have can be overwhelming. It’s my goal through Scissortail Digital to help you enjoy, use, and organize your photos so you can go from jumbled to joyful!
